Brian Palmieri is a Philadelphia-based painter and printmaker. He earned a BFA in Printmaking from Tyler School of Art and Architecture, a BA in Visual and Verbal Arts from Keuka College, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.

His work explores the relationship between abstraction and representation, using a recurring visual language of shapes, marks, and patterns to guide the viewer through a dynamic visual experience. Drawing from traditions in painting and printmaking, Palmieri’s images invite prolonged looking, where meaning emerges through rhythm, contrast, and the interaction of forms rather than through a fixed narrative.
